      Hello!
No, I am not, but one of my friends did work on the human genome project. She worked with the lead on the project, a man called Craig Venter, and her job was to analyse some of the masses of data that the human genome project generated. Now all scientists can access that data online, and it really is very useful for my work and that of other scientists doing the same kind of thing.

In part yes but I am not formally associated to the Human Genome project. I joined one of the conferences a few years ago.

Nope! But I make a lot of use of the Atlantic salmon genome which became available in 2011 thanks to another genome sequencing project 🙂

No, I didn’t do any work on the Human Genome Project itself. It was actually largely completed long before I started working with genetics.

Like Vicky, I use its data though and so do most people who work with human genetics. The Human Genome Project data is kind of like a map that lets us all talk about the same genes without getting confused.
