I am currently working on a project which looks at how salmon use daylength signals to trigger changes in their biology to prepare them for migration from freshwater streams to the salt water of the sea. There are more details about this in my profile 🙂

I am working on a project right now. We want to make inflammation visible under the microscope and look at proteins that we label so that we can see them under the microscope.

Yes, I’m currently working on a project which looks at the DNA of leukaemia cells. By looking at the DNA inside the cells, I try and figure out what happened to cause the leukaemia in the first place. I hope by doing this, I can suggest that some patients are treated with a particular kind of drug – which should help them better than the drugs that are currently recommended to treat leukaemia.
