      Usually they are, yes. My parents are big fans of education, so they’ve encouraged me to keep studying as I’ve got older.

      My friends sometimes asks when I’m going to grow up and get a real job, but I think they’re joking…

      My family are very supportive, although since I still work in a University my Gran does still ask how “school” is.

      I have very supportive parents who have always encouraged me towards education, as well as extra curricular activities which have benefitted me greatly.

      Yes, my parents really like the fact I decided to be a scientist. They never pushed me into any career, but I think they are very happy with the one I chose.
