Question: could you geneticaly engineer a half man half animal

Probably not, I’m afraid. Humans and animals have different sized chromosomes (the things that carry your genes) and it would be very different to get a man-animal mix to work properly.

It might be possible to move certain genes from animals into humans, but there are very strict laws about what you can and can’t do in this kind of situation. In general, scientists have decided not to do this kind of experiment on humans!
