      Hello,

I think I know what you mean by this question, but please do tell me if i have the wrong idea. I’m really happy to be working as a cancer research scientist – i wouldn’t say it makes me feel very important as such, as there are a lot of people all around the world who are working to try and find better treatments for cancer. We all share our research and information as much as possible, both over the internet and also at conferences – where we can talk to other cancer researchers face to face. I feel the importance of what we are all trying to do, and how much people who have lost loved ones to cancer are hoping we succeed, but I don’t feel personally important – just part of a very big, important team effort to hopefully eventually cure cancer.
