      Hi Leah,

      Good question! There are over 100 different types of cancer, but each of these has different categories. For example, there are four main types of leukaemia; acute myeloid, acute lymphoid, chronic myeloid and chronic lymphoid. If we take just one of these: acute myeloid – there are another 7 main types, and there are even more categories within these seven types! It’s very complicated. So, there is no particularly accurate answer for your question – but for main types, there is over 100!
