      you can see how climate change has changed geology in the past. Great Britain is now an island while it was part of main land europe not a too long time ago.

      I’m afraid that I don’t know too much about geology, however, climate change could have massive effects on the ocean currents. There is something called ‘thermohaline circulation’ which is a worldwide ocean circulation, which regulates ocean temperature. Climate change may slow down this circulation, bringing less heat to the higher latitudes, which means that climate change (so called global warming) may actually make the higher latitudes colder in the future!
