      Hello Paige,

Good question – The first thing I do with any important discoveries, is write about it, publish the results and let other scientists read it. It’s very important that we as scientists check each other’s work, to make sure that we have the right results. Often the scientists that help check each other’s work are in entirely different Countries. For example, I have colleagues in the USA, Germany and Austria. We are all working on the same kind of project, so rather than working against each other, we work together – we make faster progress this way.

Thanks for your question, please do feel free to ask as many more as you like!
