      Hello,

      Genes don’t really contain ‘three things’ as such. They are made up of four different bases of DNA; A, T, G and C. The combination of these bases decides what kind of protein is made from the gene. Does that answer your question? If not, let me know and maybe try to rephrase it a bit to give me a better chance of understanding 🙂
