Question: what inspired you to investigate inmlaminations

I guest you mean inflammation. Inflammation is a reaction of the immune system to fight against infections. But it can also lead to diseases or can make diseases worse if inflammation gets to strong. I find it interesting to understand why inflammation can be a good thing at one occasion and a bad thing at another. Ideally we would like to be able to switch inflammation on or off when needed.
