Question: Why do you want to make plants more or less drought tolerant?

This is a great question!

Global warming is causing lots of problems for our crops including causing us to have higher air temperatures and less rain. This means the plants need to be more drought tolerant.

Our population is also increasing a lot which adds a lot of strain on to our crops and farmers, so we try and make crops which can produce more food and live in these harsh conditions!
