  It would be cool to develop glow in the dark salmon, but I don’t think it would benefit them very much as they would be much easier for predators to see! By finding out how they tell the time, we can be more aware of when they are likely to ‘run’ down river and therefore look after wild stocks better. Also, we can take better care of fish that are grown in the aquaculture industry by knowing more about how they behave in the wild.
